Following the recent burglaries in the town, the members of the Portadown Cares Community Outreach Team visited the homes. We delivered to each of them a bunch of flowers as our version of saying that people care and are thinking about them.

One of several community hugs, this one to centurion Mr Duffy, flowers were also delivered to homes in the local area where a burglary had been carried out.
Portadown Cares committee member Sonya Blair pictured delivering biscuits and sweets to Lisnisky nursing home. We visited all the nursing homes in the area and also brought similar to the staff in the children’s ward and A&E at Craigavon Area Hospital.
Some of the toys which were donated to Portadown Cares by Cool FM’s Cash for Kids Appeal. These have all been distributed within the local community, and hope that the kids will love to receive and play with them.
