It was such a privilege to chat to so many young people about the work that Portadown Cares does in their community. We hope to see some of them volunteering with us in the near future!

As we quickly approach the festive season, Portadown Cares is once again preparing our annual Christmas hamper appeal- supporting local families, pensioners, and individuals who find themselves struggling at this time of year. How you can help: Sponsor a hamper- £65 for a large family, £50 for an average or £35 for a pensioner hamper. Donate goods- non-perishable food, toiletries, festive treats or toys Spread the word! If your child ever needs help, they are more than welcome to come to our shop in the High Street Mall to charge phones, get out of a situation, get a lift or just need help with anything at all, someone at Portadown Cares will most certainly help them.

We had an amazing time at the official opening of our brand new shop in the High Street Mall! Once again, Portadown Cares gave out free school uniforms to any child in need, no questions asked, making sure everyone was looking smart for the new school year!

What another fabulous year for our Strictly. Our dancers worked so hard, and you can most definitely tell. Our grand total is now a whopping £336,973. Thank you to anyone who donated, bought a ticket or supported us for our ninth year of Strictly. Keeeeeeep dancing!

Portadown Cares supplied 248 food hampers and 436 large bags of toys to local families in need in and around Portadown. We had countless volunteers helping to shop, pack and deliver and received many donations from schools such as StOliver Plunketts- Ballyhegan and Care homes such as Allied Health Care at the acute care home team.

With the help of OUTHAUS NI and Beyond AV Ltd, Portadown Cares was able to run a Santa's grotto free of charge through November and December for people and dogs!

Portadown Cares does Strictly Legends 2024 sponsored by The Agent NI! Two sell-out nights, top-class performers, top-class production and our highest-ever amount raised for 16 individual charities and organisations. This brings us to a total of £283,631 over 8 years!
